  • Void (Purple) is neutral – no advantages, no weaknesses Void icon

Mismatched affinities trigger Weak Hits – slashed damage and debuffs that fizzle out. It bites harder than you’d expect.

Ascension – Purple Stars and Power Spikes

Those purple stars from ascending? They crank stats, open accessory slots, and juice abilities. Farm Potions in the affinity-specific Keeps.

Skip this and you’re stuck – no rings, amulets, or banners without it.

Energy ticks up slow (130 cap at max level). 40 gems buys a full top-off. It drains on every run, win or wipe – so scout stages smart.

Silver starves you constant. It trickles from runs but evaporates fast. Prime farms:

  • Campaign 12-3 for shield sales early
  • Spider Stage 20 down the line for accessory cash-ins

Hold off on artifact upgrades unless it’s an Enhancement Event – otherwise, you’re bleeding dry.

Gems trickle from dailies, events, Clan Boss, Doom Tower, and that Gem Mine (500 gems to kick off, but it compounds nicely). Dump your opening 800 into starter Masteries – skip the shard temptation.

Shards fuel the summons:

  • Mystery – Campaign/Market scraps; mostly Common/Uncommon junk, rare Rare pops
  • Ancient – Rare/Epic/Legendary mix; hoard for 2x rushes
  • Void – Void-only pulls; goldmine territory
  • Primal – Mythical shots (odds are brutal)
  • Sacred – Epic/Legendary locks; 500-point beasts in Summon Rush

Shards outside 2x? Total waste. Data says bank 60 Ancient, 20 Void, 10-15 Primal, at least 15 Sacred for fusion pushes.

Legendary tomes? Gatekeep ’em from trash pulls. Hit tier lists for Epics and up – gold doesn’t mean god-tier.
